Mental health is Health

Mental healthMental health refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is all about how people think, feel, and behave.

Mental health can affect daily life, relationships, and your ability to perform basic tasks. It’s always “Mind over Body”- if one day you wake up depressed and sad in the morning then you choose to stay in bed all day and end up procrastinating all day. But on the contrary, if you wake up happy and feeling satisfied then you have the power to accomplish everything that you’ve planned for the day. This is how important your mental health is. I believe that if you’re mentally not healthy, then that takes a toll on your physical health and your spiritual health. You attract what you want, you have to be mentally strong to attract the right things even if, at the moment it’s not the easiest path. To be able to make these right decisions you have to be mentally strong and have to prioritize your mental health.

It is a competitive world out there. To be able to achieve your ambitions in life it is important to have a healthy mindset. When we are mentally healthy, we enjoy our life and environment, and the people in it. We can be creative, learn new things, and take risks.

You might not be able to reduce the workload but you can adopt certain habits that will help you cope well with the stress and make sure you shine even through your hardest experiences. Nurturing your mental health can help you combat and prevent mental health problems. One thing the pandemic has taught all of us is to be able to enjoy every moment in life. It’s the little things in life that matter.

Many pieces of research show that university students go through depression, anxiety, and mental breakdown because of the curriculum and the pressure of exams. The University curriculum is hard and even subjective at times. It is difficult to pass exams, meet deadlines, and make sure to do well in all aspects of life. But one thing for sure is that it’s not the end of the world if you don’t do well or fail a certain test. Failing doesn’t mean that you’re a failure, it just means that you have an extra chance to learn from your mistakes and be an even better student.

Let’s make sure to take mental health seriously and do our best to spread as much awareness as we can in this world. This will not only benefit our generation but also all the future generations to come.
