Admission and entrance exams

How does the Admission Procedure Work?

The qualifications and skill needed for admission to MUNI vary from programme to programme. For full details of entry requirements, visit the faculty/programme web pages. However, the minimum entry requirements for degree programmes are as follows:

1.a For bachelor’s degree programme

Completion of secondary education resulting in a school-leaving examination with a school-leaving certificate.

1.b For master’s degree programme

Bachelor’s degree certificate accompanied by a final TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS. All documents must be provided in English or with an official English language translation, stamped and signed by a translating company or an authorised university office.

3. Statement of purpose

Document outlining the applicant’s history and presenting their motivation for applying to attend the chosen programme.

4. Recommendation letter (if required)

5. English language qualifications TOEFL

550 for paper-based, 213 for computer-based, or 79 for Internet-based tests. Cambridge IELTS written version 6.5, CAE – B grade, CPE – C grade (This does not apply to native speakers and holders of a prior degree taught in English.)

Additional information

Accommodation

Accommodation in the form of student dormitories with a bathroom and kitchenette is provided for all who need it. Students have access to a sports field, gym, study rooms, TV rooms, and common lounge areas. The price differs from 110 EUR to 140 EUR per month. Find more info on skm.muni.cz

 

What should you know about Brno
