Days of Open Doors at Metropolitan University Prague

Metropolitan University Prague holds Days of Open Doors regularly once a month since January to September. During these days, prospective applicants have an opportunity to find out detailed information about submission of applications, admission proceedings, individual specialisations, instruction, and foreign languages taught at MUP.

During the Days of Open Doors prospective applicants also have an opportunity to meet with the representatives of the individual departments and ask them questions at the concluding debate.

University Days of Open Doors in Prague are held in MUP Strašnice Building in Dubečská street no. 900/10, Prague 10 – Strašnice (map) at 5:00 p.m. on the following days:

· 15 April 2020
· 13 May 2020
· 10 June 2020
· 02 September 2020
· 21 September 2020

The programme of Days of Open Doors starts with a general introduction of the university and all its study specialisations, opportunities to study abroad, instruction of foreign languages, admission requirements and other MUP activities at 5:00 p.m. (approximately 50 minutes) by MUP management including MUP Rector, Professor Michal Klíma. However, the general introduction is held in Czech only.

The introduction is followed by information seminars on individual specialisations (approximately 30 minutes). During the seminar, the representative of the relevant MUP Department will introduce the specialisation in full detail and answer all your questions. Moreover, you will have a chance to experience a model lecture. The list of rooms, in which the individual seminars will be held, will be distributed during the introduction at 5:00 p.m. The information seminars are held in the language of the relevant specialisations, i.e. in Czech or in English.
