usti_5Ústí nad Labem is a city in the north-western part of Bohemia, only 20 kilometers from the border with Germany. It is located in the Labe river valley and the Mariánský Bridge built over the river in between 1993-1998 is considered one of the best structures of recent decades. The city is home to Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyně which has 8 faculties and over 10,000 students.
