The Faculty of Agriculture is one of the oldest faculties in South Bohemia and within more than 50 years of existence, it has reflected modern trends in the development of agricultural sciences. Modern concept of the Faculty gives graduates possibilities of being successful on the employment market as well as encourages scientific and research integration in the frame of national and international scale. Teaching and scientific results, expert and consulting services in connection with continuous internal and external cooperation resulted in the increase of the expert prestige of the Faculty. Management of farms, companies, and similar enterprises at regional and national level is an essential component of graduate profile.
Admission and entrance exams
The principal requirement for entering the Bachelor´s degree is to prove a successful completion of the secondary education with a Recognition of education acquired abroad. For Master´s/Doctoral degree, you need to prove your previous Higher education with an official Recognition of the Diploma certificate, issued by Public higher education institution providing degree programmes of corresponding/similar content. If the study programme of your Diploma is similar to those offered by the University of South Bohemia, you can apply for the official recognition at the USB Study department.
The deadline for submitting applications is usually between February and April. The date, content, and form of entrance examinations may depend on the faculty, but they are usually held between June and September. Student administration departments at various faculties can provide information on applications, admission requirements and studies.
