Czech universities with most international students

Every year, QS publishes the list of top universities in the world. One of the criteria which it considers is international student ratio. Sixteen Czech universities have made the list this year.  Which one has the most international students?

The top two spots have been taken by universities based in Prague. The first place belongs to University of Chemistry and Technology, the second to Czech University of Life Sciences. Both have achieved a ranking over 80 out of a hundred in the international student ratio indicator.

Third place is occupied by Brno University of Technology, fourth by Masaryk University, both with scores over 75. At the end of the top five is Charles university with 61,7. Overall there are sixteen Czech universities on this list.

Why is this indicator so important? For one, you will have more opportunity to make friends with people who came to study to Czechia from abroad.

“If an institution is attracting a sizeable population of international students this has benefits in terms of networking, cultural exchanges, a more diverse learning experience, and alumni diversity,” adds QS on its website.

“In addition if an institution is attracting a sizeable number of overseas students it suggests that it has a positive reputation and is viewed as a good place to study. This can be reinforced if graduates return to their home country with a positive experience to relay to future prospective students,” adds QS.
