Vision for AI 2021

On 22 April, European scientists are holding the online event called European Vision for AI 2021. The organizers are part of the European project VISION that cooperates with exceptional AI centres and the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics is one of the main organizers. Anyone is welcomed to attend without prior registration—general public, start-ups, innovators, researchers, students or simply people interested.

The workshop promises to provide insights on how AI impacts the European economical situation and society. The aim is to present the current position of Europe on AI research and promote discussion. Even though it’s a digital only event, you can actively participate via live questions & answers, surveys and polls.

Vít Dočkal from the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, who is one of the leading organizers, considers this event to be the bridge between academia and general public. “Our goal is to get young people, researchers, innovators, corporations and politicians to speak with each other at least virtually and to discuss ambitious European plans for AI,”  he commented.
