Winter School Central Europe at Palacký University Olomouc
Palacký University Olomouc invites you to join the Winter School Central Europe this winter and gain unique educational experience while traveling around Central Europe. The winter school will take place between January 25 and February 7, 2021. In the case that Palacký University Olomouc is forced to cancel the physical Winter School entirely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an online substitute programme will be arranged.
The Winter School Central Europe will take place between January 25 and February 7, 2021, in the city of Olomouc. Students of the winter school can stay in the dormitories of Palacký University Olomouc.
There are four study programmes offered at the winter school:
- Central European History
- International Business
- Central Europe & European Integration
- English Language & Anglophone Culture
Besides the lectures, there are several fun and educational field trips included in the winter school programme. Students will get the chance to visit Prague, Czech Mountains, Vienna and Dolní Morava. The Winter School Central Europe will also include a social programme with activities that will help students to get to know their fellow participants and the city of Olomouc.
The programme fee for one participant is EUR 750. Applicants who pay the total amount before October 11, 2020, get an early bird price which is EUR 650. The fee includes accommodation for the duration of the programme, lectures, trips and social programme. The fee does not include transport to and from the Czech Republic, food and the costs for travel documents.
