Czech conferences in June 2023It’s almost the end of the current academic year 2022/2023, but a lot is still going on. Particularly, five academic conferences and one huge scientific event. Life is never boring when you’re a student. What can you still attend before summer break comes?

Congress of Mediterranean Studies

31 May – 3 June, Brno

This year, Masaryk University is hosting the 25th annual international congress on Mediterranean Studies. The Mediterranean Studies Association is an interdisciplinary organisation which studies the Mediterranean region in all aspects and disciplines so anyone can find something to focus on and explore.

Beyond Horizons

1-2 June, Mladá Boleslav

This conference is organised by ŠKODA AUTO University and aims to become an intersection of the academic and business world while promoting culture and diversity. It will bring together an international forum of academic and professional institutions as well as companies to explore how they cooperate in the contemporary world. You can look forward to lectures on CIs in education, corporate practice, didactic, case studies and many lectures on diversity and inclusion.

Conference for future accountants

1 – 2 June, Prague

The Faculty of Finance and Accounting, which belongs to Prague University of Economics and Business, is organising their annual conference, this year for the 24th time. This conference is a great opportunity to present one’s research and meet colleagues from all over the world to discuss contemporary issues in finance and accounting. Highlights of Algorithms

The IGAFIT Highlights of Algorithms is a conference designed to be a forum for presenting recent discoveries in algorithms. Czech Science Fair 2023

8 – 10 June, Prague

This huge event organised by the Czech Academy of Sciences is literally for everyone to enjoy because it aims to present scientific phenomena and current research playfully and interactively. Not a science major? Not a problem! You will be introduced to science through creative displays, models, simulators and laboratories. Science nerds can look forward to experts from academia and scientific institutions. Organised annually since 2015, the Czech Science Fair is one of the largest events of its kind in Central Europe with an area of 8 000m² and over 100 exhibitions. Don’t miss out!

Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference for PhD students and assistants

26 – 29 June, Czech Republic (online)

The Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference for PhD students and assistants QUAERE 2023 welcomes all PhD students and assistants to their interdisciplinary scientific conference organised by MAGNANIMITAS academic association. The aim is to support science and create a safe place where young researchers can present their findings.
