EuroTech Summer School and Innovation DayEuroTech Summer School is an event which takes place 5-9 July 2021 and is open to Master and PhD students from EuroTech schools like Czech Technical University in Prague. It is organized by Energy4Climate Center of Institut Polytechnique de Paris and you can participate online.

The topic of this EuroTech summer school is “From Smart Buildings to Smart Cities”. It’s free of charge but you must register until 5 May and send your motivation letter, a CV and a short abstract beforehand if you want to participate actively. While organizers want to allow a limited number of participants to visit the venue, there’s a possibility the event will be only virtual depending on the Covid-19 situation.

The main topics of this conference include general challenges of smart buildings, regulation stakes, energy management and machine learning and optimisation. Presenters will address the issue of smart buildings in context of climate change, energy sufficiency and interaction with vicinity. There will be seminars, hands-on projects, group debates, mini-projects in groups and parallel online sessions.

And even before this event takes place, don’t forget to celebrate EuroTech Innovation Day on 28 April! It’s free of charge as well and open to everyone with a registration. This one day event frames EuroTech’s 10-year anniversary and several EuroTech universities are preparing a bunch of inspirational talks.
